Valentine Gifts

Today Aunt Ann came by to drop off presents for the kids for Valentines day. I think it is really nice that she remembers them each holiday with a little something. This year she gave them each a little heart shaped box of chocolates. She even brought a little something for the baby... Oh, did I forget to mention we are having a baby?

The ER

Tonight we had an adventure. Elliott was playing with Hillary's boys and jumped up on a step stool. As he jumped off, the stool flipped and he fell on his arm. After telling me he couldn't go to school tomorrow, and then telling me he thought it was broken, we decided he might be right. Off to the ER we went. I have never seen the ER as full as it was. At 8:05 (almost a full hour after getting there) he was able to get in for a Xray. At almost 9:00 he was called in and we were told he has a buckle fracture. He is in a sling and splint and will get a cast in a couple of days.

Falling down

I just fell. I slipped on the ice in the Smiths parking lot. Hit my knee and hand. At least this time it was due to something other than me being a huge klutz. Hillary... you're up (Not that I hope you fall - It just kinda goes that way)

2009

I will have faith that this will be a good year.
