A Ladybug -bet you never knew they look that close up, (she didn't wear the teeth to school, would have been funny though)

A Ballerina - so sweet

Ninja 1 & Ninja 2

How about a whole bunch of Ninja (Max, Alex, Elliott, Owen) protecting princess Lily under the spiderweb in the stroller.

Hope everyone had an excellent Halloween!

Some Things We Have Done Lately

The boys met the creator of Bionicles he signed posters and a movie for them.

Lily at 6 weeks

Alex and Dan went hunting and hiking up Rock Canyon.

We went around the Nebo loop. Bailey didn't want to come with us - I think we have crossed over into Mom & Dad are not fun anymore territory. The boys & Lily had a good time.

We hiked to the Grotto.

We finally caught a smile.

Back to School

Alex - 5th, Elliott - 2nd
Bailey -8th

The kids are back in school. Along with hundreds of other moms around the valley, I don't know whether to be relieved or sad. They get so much older at this time every year. They are awesome kids and I hope they have a really good year.

Happy Birthday Hillary!

Hope you had a great day.

A Run and A Reunion

Yesterday we started the day early. Dan had registered to run a 5k to help a friend of his raise money for her brothers family. The brother passed away recently and the proceeds from the run will go to his family. There were 353 runners that participated. Dan beat his time goal of 25 min (24min 45.5 sec - the photo is just after he came in), and ranked 85th overall, 59th out of 154 men, and 5th out of 17 in his age group.
After the run we went to Gunnison for our family reunion. It was nice because the playground was right by us and we didn't have to worry about the kids going to far. We had yummy food and good conversation. Alex won a few things in the raffle (a flashlight, and a monster Bailey made and donated), Bailey won a gift card, I won a Christmas picture and Lily won a quilt.

Happy Birthday E!

Once again I am a day late on the birthday wishes. Happy Birthday to Elliott. I can't believe he is 7! We spent the day putting together his newest Bionicle, hanging out at Carl's Jr. and ate waffles for dinner. He is a great boy and we love him lots and lots.

Ogden's Dinosaur Park

Another summer adventure down. Bailey's friend Courtney, Hillary, Nick, and the boys came with us. We couldn't have picked a better day to go. It sprinkled off and on all day which kept the temperature down and the people away. The kids had a great time watching the mechanical dinosaurs, touring the grounds, and digging in the gem mine. We had a picnic on the grounds and fed the seagulls (which Owen really enjoyed). Good times!

Thanksgiving Point

Today Dan and I decided to take the kids to Thanksgiving Point. Well, we didn't decide to take them today, we have been bribing them with the adventure for a couple of weeks. Today was just the day we decided to go. We took Hannah and Maxwell along with us.

As we walked through the exhibit, two Moms walked past us and one said to the other "That is what it would be like to have five kids and a baby." I had to laugh, (after I got over the initial desire to yell "Only three and the baby are mine!").
We did feel a little crazy but we had lots of fun. This is what each of the kids said their favorite part of the day was:

Bailey - liked it all
Alex - The space room - well actually I liked everything!
E - ALL of it except the creepy guys (mannequins) at the beginning.
Max - Digging for bones...no digging in the sand and water...no the skeletons
Hannah - Her magic wand from the gift shop
